Honestly I only come to Maingate because it is so close to my house, but it's kinda awesome. Usually very chill and food is not bad at all. Drink prices are super reasonable with a cost saving happy hour.
Burgers at this classic East DSM bar are fantastic. Onion rings were delicious as well. Met the owners and they were extremely welcoming.
Haven't been there in yrs, went to the Sunday Open Jam. Love listening to live music! So many new people since I had been there, but still old familiar faces too!! So nice to see some of the past jammers still jamming along. ...

Felt very comfortable actually for being a strong antisocial I didn't feel like I was being judged from a far the service was very polite and even suggested things for the food that was ordered. Food was definitely on point. Id go again, no questions asked!! Thanks maingate for being awesome

Love this place! Bartenders are always fun. Management is always fabulous! Owner is super awesome and friendly. Food is always delicious! Always nice to to go to when having a night out :)
